Flower Power
Jenny Fraser
The offering is there for you
so you know you are thought about, warmly
likewise, their blooming willingness and intent
we cannot forget
petals are the original eye catcher
a reminder to keep colourful
their delicate offering is always there for you
quietly patient, and caring
we can make use of them sameway
they did by the river, back in the day
some of the longest surviving
without continental shift
the more isolated the better
no fuel fumes, or sulphates to absorb
just soak in water, then sun for a few hours
and drink a few glasses of their essence each day
help raise our vibration
flowers, for you, and them too
this ancient offering is still there for you
they say white is for the highest work
but use whatever colour, or kind you are drawn to
your spirit knows what’s best
and the essence to help lift
depends on the season
flowery offerings are there for us
remember them, before they forget you
